Role Overview

Responsible for maximising the club’s performance through strategy execution, performance management, and the growth and development of direct reports, all in accordance with the company’s business objectives. You will have a thorough understanding of gym club management, major club positions (Head of Department / HOD), and implementing the business strategy and brand standard. You’ll also have P&L management experience, as well as a track record in people development and performance management. You will increase the company’s membership, income, and profitability while providing an amazing member experience, and you will be enthusiastic about working in an atmosphere that is continually striving to better people’s lives.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Attract, acquire and retain talent in your club.
  2. Mentor employees to guide them to fulfil their potential and generate outcomes.
  3. Ensure a great member and visitor experience at the club.
  4. Implement company strategies to optimise controlled profitability and overall revenue objectives.
  5. Achieve monthly and annual Net Member Movement budgets.
  6. To ensure brand standards are delivered and club maintenance is managed by utilizing maintenance systems.
  7. To ensure brand standards are met and club upkeep is maintained.
  8. Managing club training and development.
  9. Coach and manage staff performance.
  10. To handle daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supervising and evaluating a team with a demonstrated record of achieving revenue based KPI’s
  • Skills in leadership and communication at all levels
  • Able to interpret club financial accounts and business development
  • Self-motivated, adaptive, and positive team player
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Business development and club marketing skills
  • Ability to energise, persuade, assist, and encourage
  • Speaking Mandarin is a plus.
  • The ability to energize, influence, support and inspire
