What is RPM™?

RPM is a group indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity. It’s fun, low impact and you can burn up to 675 calories a session*.

With great music pumping and the group cycling as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. In an RPM workout you repeatedly rotate the pedals to reach your cardio peak then ease back down, keeping pace with the pack to lift your personal performance and boost your cardio fitness.

Benefits of RPM™ Classes:

  • Building Strength –In order to improve your strength, plan on doing at least 150 minutes of cycling per week. You may see results after a few weeks of regular classes, but you’ll have to keep up with the classes in order to maintain the results.

  • Cardiovascular Benefits -Indoor cycling is a wonderful way to improve cardiovascular health. It’s similar to other forms of cardio, such as running, swimming, and elliptical training. It’s ideal for people who want a cardio workout without putting too much stress on their joints.

     

  • Burn calories -Indoor cycling classes are a great way to burn calories. Depending on the difficulty and duration of the class, you can burn 400 to 700 calories per class.
